This fantasy submarine is a work in progress, inspired by a vehicle described in the "The Elfin Ship", "The Disapearing Dwarf" and "The Stone Giant" by James P. Blaylock.

I designed this model for a speed modelling competition on game-artist.net. The first image is the original high-polygon model, followed by the wireframe for the low-polygon version, and the low-poly version itself. The low-poly version has normal maps baked from the high-poly version.

The weapon was based on a blunderbuss, an old fashioned shotgun of sorts, but it had to be combined with some other weapon. I chose a steam powered rotating saw.

These are furnishings which I used to populate my Cabin Animation (see Demo Reels). I reworked some of the textures, and rendered them in the free 3D software Blender

They are available for purchase here.

This earth boring machine I've dubbed the 'Drill-o-Matic' is used in my level 'Undead Mine' for the game Left 4 Dead.

The machine is steam powered, and helps the players escape by drilling through a wall.
